Juzzel Puzzle was conceptualized by Emmanuel S. Legaspi Jr. in early 1980s. In August 1981, thick cardboard cutout prototype was completed to sample the Juzzel Circle, which was then called “Ikot Bilog”. In 1994, various cutout designs were developed.
In July 2000, first functional software prototype was completed. Full development in 2005 and first version of Juzzel Puzzle copyrighted in 2006. All rights reserved.
Juzzel Puzzle is a two-dimensional game where an image is divided into pieces that are then shuffled by rotating adjacent pieces randomly. Player solves the puzzle when each piece is in its original position.
Juzzel Puzzle games vary on the cutout of the pieces and the form of the adjacent pieces per move. The choices are Juzzel Square, Juzzel Triangle, Juzzel Honeycomb and Juzzel Circle.
The number of adjacent pieces rotated per move depends on the selected level of the game. These levels are Simple, Standard, Extreme and Genius.
